Meet our Executive Chef, Alistair
Alistair, the Executive Chef at Tewinbury, discovered his passion for cooking early, inspired by his grandmothers and TV chef Gary Rhodes. His culinary journey began with a pivotal stint at the Michelin-starred Hotel de la Plage in France, followed by roles at renowned restaurants such as Fischer's at Baslow Hall, Pied à Terre, and Harrods. Alistair's career has seen him collaborate with top chefs like Tom Kerridge and Helene Darroze, manage large kitchen teams, and travel extensively across Europe, honing his skills and expanding his culinary horizons. He has brought this wealth of experience to Tewinbury, where he crafts menus that celebrate the farm-to-fork ethos, utilising the finest seasonal and local ingredients.
