Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for a maintenance assistant to join our Estate Team.

 

The role of a maintenance assistant will include (but are not limited to):

Proactively ensure any repairs, painting and other maintenance duties are carried out in a professional manner

Duty Manager

Duty Manager

 

We are looking for a Duty Manager to join our Team on a full time basis.

 

Responsibilities of a Duty Manager will include (but are not limited to):

Responsible for the smooth running of the Hotel and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction

Represent the General Management Team in the absence of a Senior Manager

Responsible for all aspects of the Hotel and guest security practicing due diligence and reporting lapses to the appropriate manager

We are looking for a Restaurant Head Chef to join our busy Kitchen Team.

 

The responsibilities of Restaurant Head Chef will include (but are not limited to):

To plan rotas by the agreed time for the following week and when appropriate, 2 weeks ahead to cover leave

To be responsible for the ordering of the required amount of stock for business levels to meet the requirements of the menu within budget

To be aware of dailyrevenue and daily food purchases, taking appropriate action to meet weekly food costs

Restaurant Food and Beverage Assistant - live out

Restaurant Food and Beverage Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Food and Beverage Assistant to join our friendly restaurant team.

The role of Food and Beverage Assistant will involve:

  • Meeting and greeting guests.
  • Taking customer orders in a friendly and efficient manner, relaying them accurately to the kitchen.
  • Dealing with customer queries and issues.
  • Clearing and relaying the Restaurant ready for service.
  • Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

As the restaurant is open 7 days a week you will be required to work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.  Typical shifts will be; 6am to 3pm, 12pm to 10pm and 3pm to close.  This role will include weekday and weekend shifts so candidates must be flexible.

The successful candidate will ideally have some previous waiting experience within a quality hotel or restaurant.  All of our waiting staff must have a flexible approach to the work they are asked to do.  An excellent standard of presentation and customer service are essential.

Night Porter (Part Time)

Night Porter

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a Night Porter to assist with the running of the Hotel during designated 'night shifts' incorporating all aspects of customer service.

 

The role of the Night Porter will involve:

 

  • Assist with Reception during designated night shifts
  • To provide a consistent and balanced service to all guests, including prioritising tasks to ensure that 4 Star standards are met
  • Manage an effective method of cash control
  • Monitor security of the Hotel for the safety of all guests and members of staff
  • Ensuring public areas are kept clean and well maintained at all times.

 

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but full training will be given.

 

This role will be 30 hours per week inbetween 7pm and 8am.

Weekend Housekeeping Supervisor

Weekend Housekeeping Supervisor

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a weekend Housekeeping Supervisor who takes pride in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the Hotel.

 

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a quality hotel, preferably at this level, and be able to motivate our experienced team.

 

Our Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for:

 

• Deputising for the Housekeeping and Laundry Manager.
• Reviewing the occupancy and allocating rooms to the Housekeeping team accordingly.
• Ensuring that all of the bedrooms and public areas are consistently cleaned to the highest possible standards throughout.
• Cleaning rooms as required.
• Ensuring that staff are trained and motivated to complete their duties effectively.
• Checking rooms and ensuring they are returned for use within a timely manner.

 

Hours of work will be offered depending on the needs of the business although it is likely the successful candidate will be offered a minimum of 2 shifts per week. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible with the hours of work they perform as this role will mainly involve weekend work with the occasional weekday shift.

The 60-seater Restaurant at Tewin Bury Farm has two AA rosettes and is proud to serve superb dishes made from fresh ingredients, in a friendly and professional manner.  

 

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager.

 

The successful candidate will have previous restaurant experience at Assistant Manager or Senior Supervisor level within a rosette environment and enjoy being a “hands-on” member of a team. All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business. An excellent standard of presentation is essential.

 

The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager will involve:

 

  • Meeting and greeting guests.
  • Assisting in the management of the Restaurant so that all guests receive excellent standards of customer service throughout.
  • Leading shifts, including training and motivating the team.
  • Achieving budgetary targets and making recommendations for development.
  • Liaising effectively with the Kitchen.
  • Dealing with customer queries and issues.
  • Assisting with compiling and implementing staff rotas.

Housekeepers - live out

Housekeepers

 

We are currently looking to employ Housekeepers to add to our bank of casual staff.

 

As a casual member of staff, the successful applicant will be offered work on an as and when basis dependent on the business needs.  Shifts offered will be between 4-6 hours covering weekdays as well as weekends.

 

Our Housekeeping team are responsible for ensuring that all our guests are greeted by clean and welcoming rooms, ensuring that these high standards are maintained throughout the premises.

 

Housekeepers will be expected to clean a section of up to 6 rooms and/or public areas around the Hotel, to high standards.

 

Previous experience is preferred however full training will be given to the right candidate.

We have a 60-seater Restaurant plus 9 conference rooms, 4 of which are also used as wedding and event venues and can cater for up to 1,000 guests on site at one time. Our food is prepared from fresh ingredients in house.

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a Demi Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchens, all of which are modern and superbly equipped.

 

The successful candidate will have had previous experience at Demi Chef de Partie level or be ready to take the step up into that role.

 

All applicants must be able to demonstrate their interest in food and a passion for consistently achieving to their full potential.

 

In return, our successful Demi Chef de Partie will be encouraged to develop their skills within banqueting, restaurant and pastry during their career at the Company under the guidance of our experienced chefs.
